Holiday Adjustments: If Monday is a holiday, our schedule will simply shift by one day. For instance, with a Monday holiday, “Day 1” starts on Tuesday. Your recruiter will also reinforce this.
Standard Remote Onboarding: Our first 2-days of onboarding will be facilitated remotely and you will work from home, unless you are a part of a *Select Operations class.
*Only select Operations classes will join Day 1 onsite. Your trainer will send detailed schedule instructions and what to expect (1) week prior to your start date. Your recruiter will reinforce this.

Day 1 (Part 1)
Laptop Setup
Account credentials are sent to your personal email the evening before your start date.
Lookout for the email with the subject, "New Employee Account Information", from sender "onboarding-all@sofi.org". (Check your spam!)
Initiate your laptop setup with both the 1) Computer Setup and 2) Software Setup guides linked below. We suggest beginning 2 hours before orientation starts.

Setting up your laptop
Setting up your laptop is self-guided. Use both computer and software setup guides to get your computer ready to go before you join Day 1 New Hire Orientation.

Software Setup Guide:
If you need support setting up your laptop (for all employees):
- Contact the IT Service Desk by dialing 1-844-442-5666. Leave a voicemail and you'll be contacted by the next available agent.
- If you need additional assistance, join the "Optional IT Drop-In Session" (invite sent to your personal email), where our IT team will be available to help during the specified hours.
Important:
- Invitations for the Day 1 sessions will be in your personal email by end of day Friday (the week before your start).
- Do not try logging into your computer prior to receiving your account credentials or you will be locked out.
- After setup, restart your laptop. This ensures any updates are applied and takes about 15 minutes.

Day 1 (Part 2)
New Hire Orientation: SoFi's Story & Tools Walk-thru
Start times:
9 am PT | 10 am MT | 11 am CT | 12 pm ET
Purpose of the session:
This interactive session will help you connect with fellow new hires, learn about SoFi Technologies' journey, and gain essential knowledge about the tools & benefits that support your work.
How to join:
Check your SoFi or Galileo email for the invite after you've set up your laptop.
After orientation:
We encourage you to reach out to your manager and/or team for next steps.
Day 2:
Culture, Values and Organizational Overview
Start times:
9 am PT | 10 am MT | 11 am CT | 12 pm ET
Purpose of the session:
This session is designed to introduce you to our culture, values, and organizational structure. You will gain insights into how our values come to life in daily operations, understand our strategic vision, and explore how you can contribute to our success.
How to join:
Join the session invite added to your work Google Calendar. Zoom links are the same as Day 1.
